    Default I Gotta Beat This

It was years and years ago, this tunes comes on the radio, I thought wow and hit the record button....I got no idea who it was or the title just remember the Lyrics...... "I gotta beat this, i gottta beat this" (female voice talking in a sort of subliminal fashion after the lyrics/chrous) "some one ran into a house and slammed the door" I think it was made about the time the Shamen did their IN GORBACHEV WE TRUST- Album because the track Jesus Loves America was also on that tape.
Anyone know anything about the I Gotta beat this tune?

A bit of a long shot, but could it be Tori Amos "Professional Widow" - some of the remixes sound a little like you describe.

I doubt it was Tri Amos, maybe the tune was released in 1988, it had a Sigue Sigue Sputnik flavour but -er well maybe I need to check Sputnik's early stuff.

Have you still got the recording? If so have you tried uploading it to you tube to give us a clue

Try asking on Discogs - there's a special part of the forum that's for people who need to identify a track. The folk on there are really knowledgeable about music and it's a very popular site...

No, it was on tape and lost far away, long ago.
I'll have a look around Discogs, thanks DoubleHappinessRecords.
