sorry for not replying earlier... I had to go out for lunch... stich is right you will need to close it from a dutch auction and start it as a single (normal) auction.

we have only just started listing our cards so please feel free to keep an eye on the store.... we will have 1000's listed in the end

Going out for lunch... you should be so lucky. I've been slaving over a hot PC all day. One eBay shop closed and one to go :-) but I can't close the second one until I've finished upgrading our website, which will hopefully be this week.

Seriously though, many thanks to everyone for their help. You don't get this kind of assistance on the dark side.

Crikey there aren't many people who can say they've been married for 55 years. Good for them!!!

    Old topic but.......

I would advise popping down to an auction house or at least phoning one and seeing if you can get a free valuation about your figure to get a correct estimate on the figure. I think putting it up for a tenner would slightly outdo yourself, as i think it would be able to sell for more and that quite easily.

Just out of note for anyone else, a figure of a queens guard on horse sold for 130 at an auction and also a "dragoon guard" sold for £30 at auction 2007

First of all apologies for the delay in replying. Last week we were trading in Northern Ireland and tried to reply several times but the internet connection on the iphone was useless and I couldn’t find a wi-fi area. On Saturday we received a call saying that our business premises had been broken in to so we had to return earlier than expected. We’ve spent this week getting locks changed, upgrading the alarm system and listing what is missing. Fortunately most of the stock was with us so it could have been much worse.

Many thanks for the information regarding the figure. I’ve had a look in the local newspaper and found an auction company who hold a free valuation day so I’m going to take it there and see what they think.

    Thanks again.
