Thread: Cheap listing week-end on eBay

  1. #1

Thumbs down Cheap listing week-end on eBay

    So they are having a cheap listing week-end (8th & 9th March)

No Insertion Fee, provided the starting price is 99p or less

So you can save a whopping 10p

(recouped of course by the final valuation fees)

I will be sending mine to the CEO of eBay, for doing such a fine job NOT

So tell us what you will be spending your 10p on???

I won't be spending it, because I won't be listing, so I can't save anything.

They are trying to boost their listings, because they have gone down so much, and there is no way I am going to help them boost their listings, i would rather boost Ebids

Certainly don`t blame you or anybody else for that matter.
Just wish there were actually more buyers on ebid, come on folks spend a few pennies to encourage more people away from greedbay and onto ebid.
With ebids better atmosphere and more friendly approach, especially to newcomers like ourselves its just a massive shame that more people don`t take the option of investing a few £s in trying out new sellers, but we will persevere another month in the hope that more people steer away from the Monopoly that greedbay believe they have.

Not sure what I will be spending my £150 savings on - I will be using them to list approx 1,500 items. With every sale, customers will get an email advising them all 12 other sites I list on, including Ebid and my website. Looks like cheap advertising to me.

When ever they have a cheap listing day it means the next week is going to be a bit naff as they probally go by previos years figures.
But its a good alert for me to list less.
