I'm pleased to announce all my little lights are now working - the first of the two errant ones had a battery come loose, the second the rechargeable battery was duff - luckily I carry a few rechargeable AAA batteries in the house, so both problems sorted. You can all breathe a sigh of relief now...

There is frost on the roofs and grass this morning.

Glad the lights are working have bought some new ones to go on the bush in the garden they have Bees on them but every time I think about it its raining, so will try later have several of the single lights & nice to see them light up the pots.

No frost but a very mixed day of weather here they are saying 11 degrees but feels cooler than that but its amazing they are saying that there will be hose pipe bans, they have already started the ban in Devon.

We have some lavender seperating the patio from the rest of the garden, last year I bought a set of lights to drape in the lavender. For three days it looked really nice then Mandy went out with the shears to tidy up some of the bushes.... Yep, you've guessed it. We no longer have lights in the lavender...

I have now got a lovely green garden chair. I know need somewhere to put it.

I need a little space in a corner that ia stable enough for me to be able to sit safely. It can't go on the lawn because the ground there is too uneven for me to walk on.

I'm wondering if wood chips would work as I want everything in the garden to be low maintenance

My experience with using wood chips is that they do not provide a stable surface. If you can't walk on a lawn I think you would find wood chips even worse to walk on.

Yes, I agree with this, not a very good surface to walk on at all.
