Thanks, the hospital have already been in contact and trying to get a new date. Our major roads are passable but we live on a little road at the bottom of the hill so we're always last to get out, it's only because the village school is here they even bother with us at all!

Hopefully, your granddaughter won't have long to wait.

I have friends in Midhurst where it gets snowed in with no way in or out every winter

A pile of the white stuff ended up in the yard out back overnight

We seem not to bad this morning though all the birds water has been frozen for daYS, & as fast as you break it or even poor hot water on it it freeze still , Hope everyone is coping, sounds as though lots of roads having problems with the snow & ice,

Seems strange that no trains around today but did notice ticket office was open, suppose when they do start again the trains will all be in the wrong places.

Oh, she looks lovely! What a shame Billy isn't there to cuddle her.

Amelia is someone he was really looking forward to meeting. That's the thing I am most sad about since Billy died.

Lots of cold days here is Wisconsin, USA.
Wet, chilly, dreary and who knows what will fall from the sky. (Hopefully not the bearded guy in his sleigh)

I have a couple more days to cat and bird sit for a client.
Early in the morning to get them fed and the cat has all day to eat before night time when the possum searches for food.

I had a good sale today, but waiting for payment after doing a combine invoice for them. YEAH!

I have been cleaning out my kitchen cabinets and have a corner one left to do. I have to crawl into it to wipe out the corners for both shelves. While cleaning the cabinets, I did find a nice sum of money that I hid and some items to get ready to sell. I haven't decided on a hand blown glass rolling pin. I had that since I moved into this house and mom had in the basement for years upon years. It's well over 60 years old.

I also found some meshed mosaic tiles that I used for crafting. I have been soaking them to get the mesh off of them and then decide how I will sell them. The store that I bought these mesh designer tiles were $1.58 and I actually saw the same design for $17.00. This 4 pieces were purchased around 25 years ago or so and the store is out of business.

    OH......
I had some excitement in bed.
    * Three out of the four cats were in bed and I was watching TV when Dottie jumped in bed and dropped something.
    * I thought she brought in a toy into bed just like Fletcher does. NO! I go to pick it up and it's a mouse. When I picked it up, it was ALIVE.
    * I managed to grab it by the tail when all the other cats come over to bat the mouse around. I was trying to get out of bed with this thing but ended up tossing into a box by the dresser.
    * I thought the cats would run to the box to get him. Well, when I got out of bed and looked into the box - no mouse. I got the flashlight to look for him. Nothing.
    * Then . ..
I felt something in my hair. YEP. I throw like a girl.
    * I ran to the bathroom to look into the mirror and there is the mouse in my hair. I twisted to try to catch him on the back of my shoulder, he runs to the other side of me. We, mouse and I, went back forth and then . . . .
    He leaped for freedom.
Someplace I have a mouse in the house.

I don't know why I have so much excitement here.

Our "cat hid in the dining room and we thought she was stuck somewhere outside" evening was dull compared with yours!
