I have two fans going.
I have a box fan in the window blowing to the outside. (Sucks hot air from inside to outside)
And I have another fan in the other part of the room.

Works great.

Even with rain and a slight cool down, I think the humidity level is high.
Able to clean up a few of the gardens but it is really hot out there.

We had a good storm during the night. A good drenching of rain for the yards and crops.

Not sure about the humidity - if it will stay or go away - too early in the morning where it's nice right now.

CMoonie.........dip a hand towel in cold water and wring it out, then attach to the front of your fan......it really helps cool the air. Or, put aa cold pack from the freezer on the front of the fan. It's cooled off a lot here in SE Wales. Stay safe

Glad to hear it, moonie!! It harks back to the days when I was a little kid and we'd go on vacations in the summer - hottest month, naturally, in our old chevy with no a/C. People used to hang canvas bags filled with water on the front of their car so cool air would hit the radiator and keep the car a tiny bit cooler. And we used fans with damp towels in the house. It all helps. In Kansas, I also used to fill the bathtub with cold water....it helped keep that room cool, esp as the humidity in the area was low.

Glad everyone is finding ideas to keep cool, today the weather is very mixed, sun but a lot of wind.

Its nice to go & pick up the smells of the flowers, On Saturday, with neighbours help did some cutting back including part of our bay that was going mad over to her garden, so soon as we moved that all we could smell was the bay suppose picking it up it really did smell a nice smell, still have some dried.

Mind's not in a good place today - yesterday was the anniversary of Mandy's mum's passing - early evening we found out our nephew in his early 40s had been found dead, then as we were going to bed we heard a dear friend of ours had just committed suicide. Not the best day we've ever had.... But at least we'll get over it, praying today for our lost souls....

Thank you, much appreciated... we also have a funeral tomorrow of another dear friend who died a week back.... This certainly isn't a good week for us...
