Yesterday was in the 60's and managed to get 5 of my gardens weeded.
Did some spraying. Trying to get rid of Star of Bethlehem. I cannot believe it's all over my gardens and lawn. It's just becoming a "pregnant weed" for me. But I notice down at another farm, the ditch line has a ton of the flower. The bulbs just multiply like crazy.

I did spend 4 hours at the farm doing nothing but spraying. I am hoping this will give me a head start in getting more of the brush cut. There is so much wild garlic mustard, tick weed and burdock. While young, the spray should be effect. I sprayed around the house/ wooded area and the the 4 barns and some of the wooded area around them. I am sore with carrying 2 gallons of mix, up and down and through the brush spraying what I can. I did find a 5 point antler shed.

Today, I guess I will only work on my gardens and take it easy.
Everything is so sore. Plus, there is 3 movies on this afternoon I want to watch.
1 - I remember Mama, Life with Father and Little Women.

Maybe I will retake the pictures I did last week that I am not happy with.

I did manage to do updates on listings from one shop.
I still want to do all 4 of the shops. I am hoping to get half way through the second shop today.

@Maplegin I did pay for all the work.
Carrying 2 gallons of spray mix throughout the main portion of the farm.
It looks like I used up at least 20 gallons of water from the the holding tank.
So there was at least 10 trips to mix spray and reload.

So yesterday, I managed to get 1 garden cleaned up. The yucca plants were ruin by mice making nests from the roots. Heavy duty clean out. But I will say, it was slow. I also had to take it easier than normal since I have to go to work this morning.

I did manage to start updating the second store. I'm about 1/3 of the way through that. Then 2 more stores to update. Then, I will start my website.

Police, you are a Dynamo. Take it a bit easy so you don't hurt yourself. It is good to be busy, tho, as long as it's not tooooo strenuous for you.

It was a beautiful spring day here yesterday......American Mother's Day, and I got to chat with my two girls, so that was nice.

Philpott and I are still recovering from the last year of non-stop DIY, repairs, patching, roofing, powerwashing, sorting, moving, storing, etc. Slowly getting things organized in our rental. I've changed which cupboards the dishes go in after living with the logical, but wrong decision. Moved some of the shelves down to the lowest level in the cupboards so I can reach them.

Back to the house today or tomorrow to gather more things and start clearing the out buildings.

Saw a baby sparrow on the roof after it's parents abandoned him to grow up. He flies really well, just is sad the dinner train is coming to a halt.

The baby starlings in the roof still haven't fledged yet...hope I get to see it.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Back from work and decided to go down to the farm and put a few hours in.
All the brush and vines are pulled in front of the machine shed and the silo.
The farm is starting to look good again.

I got my Cat package. Thank you Madeline. LOVE THEM ALL.

Tonight, will be working on updating the second shop.
Will it ever end. (no) LOL

Yes Madelaine, we hope this mornings rain will make it a bit easier to get the weeds out, the soli is so dry & hard, problem seems the rain is so little that do much good, its funny really we moan when it rains but now not enough of it.

Majesty, glad you are settling into your rental , as you say its then clearing the rest up, thats the drag. take care

I did spend 2 1/2 hours at the farm. Just couldn't get any more done.
It made in the 80's and it was hot and humid.
Not only getting pooped out, the ticks. I think I yank 12 of them off of me.

I did manage to take new pictures from a group of new items to be listed.
I think this time, the pictures looks a lot better than the first grouping.

I've just got back to doing the garden stuff again

I have 2 large planters at the window end of our patch and have bulbs and a butterfly bush on order.

I have compost and a huge scoop turning up on Thursday so will be scooping new compost into both planters ready for when the bulbs and bush arrive.

Sharn's new fella dropped by recently to get rid of all the brambles which were hiding the planters, so that was a big help.

Moonie - your planter garden will be lovely! That's about what I'm doing this year. Last year filled two wheelbarrows with soil and planted a few things - lettuce, borage, and some other things. It was ok, but dried out so quickly as they had holes rusted in them. This rental has a raised end of the garden/yard that was just dirt, so that's where I'll put a few things....just some flower seeds. It's about 3' x 8', and there are two of them.

Nice you had some help with the brambles.
