    I know that now, but I just saw the banages first and thought .... what has she done?

    Wind forecast to pick up a little for a few hours before dropping again but have the 'weedkilling' (well, table salt) done
    - front and back, inside and outside the fences and wall and paths and gravel .... really chuffed that it is all done.
    Gives me a heads up with the weeds for the spring, stops the ground ones and the windblown ones are then easier to see.

    Sausage stew gently simmering away for later. Coffee time I think!

    Great start to the day - just got into the shower and my phone rang - it was the step daughter panicking - just locked herself out of the new house when she took the bins out and our little lady was alone indoors.... Luckily she only lives about 6 miles from us but I had three further calls from her whilst I was drying and dressing followed by another three as I negotiated my way through the early morning traffic to get to her. Luckily our little lady after all the excitement of exploring her new home yesterday had fallen asleep whilst watching the TV...

    aww bless her, pleased she was okay but your step daughter must have been going out of her mind, i must admit I started to pin the front door key to my top each morning when Mike had his stroke, because knowing me i would do the same.

    @Mandart
    I always keep a key somewhere outside just in case.

    Sewing last night when I used the last of the bobbins of thread. I figure I can fill 20 bobbins in one time period. The bobbin would fill up 1/4 of the way and stop spinning. Looking at the manual and I was doing the right way of filling them up but the only fill the bobbin part way. I finally noticed the heavy metal guide was bent. Straightened the guide and the bobbins are filling up properly. Got all the bobbins filled up.

    Almost have the box of scraps sewing in strips and another quilt top done.
    I have another pile of fabric to sort into scrap sizes and maybe some more sewing.

    put our recycling near the gate for them to come in and get but cancelled my delivery for this week as we have too much in already, i have now lost half a stone but PB is still a bit up and down, getting fed up of eating veg and salad, having Edwards Sausage and fried eggs to night so sausage egg and chips minus the chips
