Thats where the problem started i dont fancy ceramic of is it halogen i wanted an oven but would of had to have it rewired and a bigger fuse box put in for a cooker so i went for gas at the gas pipe was there

That's a pain, they are so sturdy and quick... never fancied halogen though
Are there no easy clean gas ones? I've never looked.

I found I no longer needed an oven which is so lazy but lovely.

My last gas cooker i had in my last house was quite a clean little thing, but this one good lord it's a dirty sod, looks lovely when you clean it for about 10 minuets

I use hob cleaner, squirt about and wipe, done in seconds, even after frying spitting sausages and so on - so easy.

Got my Asda delivery today, very good, their stock levels seem to be getting back to normal.

oh darn you just reminded me Mike wants sausage egg and chips tomorrow by the time the eggs and sausage have finished having a spitting fight well say no more.
