The last of a somewhat cool day in the 40's.
The temperature is going to drop.

Today, I have the furnace finally fixed. No heat since Tuesday, but the cats kept me warm and Fletcher kept bringing me my stocking hat. I guess he thought my head was cold.

Now, I am hoping for some time without any expenses, stress or people )

Pouring rain cold and miserable and I do not care a jot ... last week at this time I was still without heat and power.
Staying in the house where it is toasty warm and do not need to go out all weekend if I choose not to, lovely.

It looks like the sun wants to come out, but I think it may be too cold for it.

The house is warm and the cats are giving me some space in bed now.
I was hoping to seal in the 2 front windows today and maybe do some work. Not sure on that one.
Working on a skirt pattern and need to get some interfacing to transfer my pattern. I making it to work in angle panels and able to adjust the length. My plans on my pattern is to start using up some of my fabric and get my creativeness back.

I took my 4 shops off vacation mode since I have electricity now and should be good with the new electrical work done.

I did do some shopping during these days of no heat to get warmed up and to find items for my junk journal making.

**** I had an invoice from eBid to pay fees. Yeah! I did have sales )

I used to love Elizabeth Taylors White Diamonds perfume, last lot I had smelled like cat wee, so I agree with you buttons, they do change the scent formula. Hope your toe is healing pet, it does take quite a while before you can actually get your shoes on again without pain - (as I found out out when I broke my toe)! You are doing a magnificent job looking after Mike's legs, and coping with all the chores yourself. Well done girl x
Hey Cats! Have a cosy warm weekend ... I read that you like snooker - my old man is glued to the one eyed aide of Morpheus (TV) watching the championship. I think he has taken root into his armchair.

Mandart, what lovely news with regards to your daughter. S o happy for you and your family x

Hope you and Nigel are doing OK Pam, make sure you wrap up warm when you go out dog walking. You are doing a fine job looking after MIL.

Police, calm down ... get yourself a large whisky from the cocktail loungs and RELAX! You sure do work hard, don't burn yourself out. I'm glad to hear that you are nice and warm, and enjoying your pussycats company in bed ...

Mooney, hope all is going OK for you and Billy, and Sarge ... well, we miss you so much. We all hope that you are coping with the ****e that has come your way. It must be very sad for you especially at this time of the year. (Thinking of you) x

To everyone else, keep warm, keep safe, be happy x

    Thanks Trish.

I got an unexpected call from a client that went south for the winter but returned for her sister's funeral. She called me told me she was a hoarder and that she had fabric and if I . .. . . . YES!
Stopped over there and picked up totes of fabric and cutting boards and such. Now I am happy after the crappy week.
