The NHS is certainly in a mess - seldom seeing (or hearing) the same GP twice doesn't help.

I woke to find two sales - I think the rain reminds people they will need something to do in the Winter?

Becky, I need to say that the Langley soup bowl brings me joy every time I use it!

The doctor I regard as our GP did ring me late yesterday and is getting in touch with the DN's to either come out or ring me, either will do as long as they tell me if I am doing right or wrong with this compression, even if they just come and look and do a doppler would help.
All the stuff i sorted has now been taken by the council and also by Ex DIL to the tip so the front garden and back yard is now clear of junk, now to attack the top floor next but think a rest is needed first as i am fed up of seeing junk, the window fitters are not coming until 11th Nov to put the new windows and new door into the shed so I cant stash all Mikes Treasures ( sorry I mean junk ) in there as yet, so my walk in pantry and dining room is full of it, hammers, nails, saws, huge tool cabinet, you name it it's in there. one of these days i will walk through a clear , clean tidy house ( full of dolls )

Suppose to be a nice day today.
Just need to water in the new garden and mow the lawn.

This afternoon, pending the wind, to take more pictures and sort out items I have whether or not to sell them.

It finally started yesterday, late day - the flying ants are emerging.
I tried to get some pictures of them. ( Don't freak out now )

There is one area about 6 feet long and 6-8 inches wide where there is a lot of activity going on. I did some video work on this. Eventually, it will be on YouTube when I get an account.

Throughout the land there are lots of 6 inch diameter of these ants.

Last year at sunset, I was able to take video of them taking flight.

Well, need to get some work done.

    * Yesterday, the farmers moved their cattle from across the road to the back field and separated the mom's and calves. They are not happy. All night long, the mooing. It's still continuing on this morning.
    * It's a sign that the neighbors is getting ready for the 4H auction. These calves will be someone's new 4H project for next year.
    * The hay field has been cut and now raked into rows for baling.

Got a great start in sorting out new items into piles for crafting supplies verses items that will be sold, upcycled clothing or going to the thrift shop.

Great day so far. Not too windy or hot.

Oh, I remember a totally lost night's sleep at boarding school when just one cow was mourning the calf she had been separated from.

The cows are back in the field across the road and the kids are in the back field.
It's quiet. I think the cows are happy not having their 4 legged ankle biters with them.

I got 170 pictures taken this morning before the wind started.
Managed to get through a section of what will be new inventory. I have a large box and a bag of items to go to the thrift shop. I was trying to find suit coats from one of my clients that will be going to the thrift shop.

It did warm up a bit and then some gray clouds came and are playing games. Not sure if I should keep working on the inventory or ? ? ?
Too much stuff to get out of the rain if it does happen. (And I was doing so good)

    Wonderful photographs, Cheaver.
We have foxes, squirrels and badgers. Our fence was ruined by badgers crashing through but they are now mostly confined to the local allotments where there is food aplenty. Allotment holders aren't best pleased though

Sounds like you live in a lovely rural area. My neighbour was lucky enough to get a hedgehog nesting though and watched the hoglets grow.

We are on the edge of green belt, literally between Worcs, Shropshire and Staffordshire. The green belt is slowly being eroded with plans for hundreds of new houses
