..... never seen a cicada - the insects I am 'scared of' are spiders lol.......

Oh, Cats! Spiders aren't insects (8 legs - insects have 6) and really, the poor things can't hurt you. They are really useful, eating lots of horrid insects!

We are having our county fair this holiday weekend.
Boy, I would love to go but with all the people and Covid.
The county I am in has the best fair.
I miss the horses, bunnies, tractor pulls, harness racing, cotton candy, pull beef sandwiches, fresh lemonade, elephant ears (not made with real elephant ears )

I also miss the Renaissance Fair which ends this weekend. All the fun costumes and activities from jousting to the hidden imps among the trees. The food of turkey thighs, fried potatoe peels and ketchup, onion blooms with cheese.

Awwwww . . . . I miss that fun, but I will wait for another year when it should be safer. . . .

On and off rain, but did manage move some more plants and some bulbs into the new garden .

We have similar events in UK, my favourite is the Three Counties Fair - (Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire) - on top of all the farm animals & wonderful plants, it's also a shopping fest!

This should have been the Braemar Gathering weekend - hopefully back in full next year.
