Well, that makes sense...........I'm sure, if she's had surgery, it will take awhile to feel like any company, and with the virus, they are probably being extra cautious......and that's a good thing for everyone. That won't stop you from starting your doting and pampering, tho. That's why god made Royal mail....or such. I'm glad there's internet so you can get pics so quickly and keep up that way. I'm so happy for everyone, and hope your DIL recovers quickly.

When I first travelled to Brighton Hospital to see Billy back in 2013 it was the first time I had travelled that distance on my own. The last time I had been to Brighton was back in the late 80's with my husband at the time and both children in the car and before that it was for a school trip.

That journey in 2013 involved a walk through the busy town centre in Gosport, a ferry ride to Portsmouth, a train ride to Brighton station and a taxi at the other end (4 hours each way) Then when Billy was moved to Eastbourne hospital another train ride from Brighton to Eastbourne was added to my journey so a round trip of 10 hours several times a week.

Finally had some time tonight to do some pinning to Pinterest.

It's been months since I did any promoting because of filing taxes, filing sale tax, updating shipping, and then finally listing a lot of items to push over the 1,000 mark. Then the weather has been somewhat nice that I got a head start to doing my gardening and re-working the back garden since 5 trees have been taken down, completed one clients gardening until next month. I still have to work on some other clients gardens, but the weather is to get cold and a chance of snow tomorrow.

Congratulations from us both Grandma, it is lovely that as someone said at least you can see the photo's, Hope DIL is okay & be home safely by now, Will be worth waiting for to be able to have lots of cuddles, They will no doubt be into a routine by when you visit its hard when you have to wait but hopefully it will be a good time to visit in a few weeks before the schools are on holiday & then the trains will be better without the familys on, you wil just have to remind yourself the journey will be worth it.
