Hi Moonie! I've just read your earlier post about "Sky"! It's not you, me luv! You do not have dementia in any form! However, those who control the world around you and keep you informed are at best semi-literate!!! Make yourself a mantra based on his and repeat it several times a day!

If you remember I went through worries and tests over this self same thing a few months back and eventually they decided I had become absent-minded! I could have told them - my mother used to go mad about my absent-mindedness when I was a child!

Do not fret! You are not alone and we are much saner than most around us. After all, we were edumacated properly!

I could go on, but shan't! If you've read my bits about blood tests for heart condition and PSA for prostate cancer then you'll know my saga! If not...do not worry as I don't!

"Nihil illegitimi carborundum!" should be your battle cry!

    Sent with love and understanding...

Ello troops. Got all my grass cut today so my garden doesn't look too awful when I have a friend round tomorrow. I hope she can just ignore the piles of rubbish that he has pulled out of sheds and just left sitting there. It looks like something out of Steptoe and Son and my house is no better, I don't know why he won't hire a skip now as the firms must be operating again with builders back at work.

Anyway got back inside and find a letter on the mat from the power company saying we will have no electric on the 3rd of June from 9.00am - 3.00pm as they are doing work to cables. I'm beginning to wonder what will happen next !!!

I had a new battery fitted Lieutenant Maplegin so I hope all will be well with the tank now. Just got to try and remember how to put the code back in for the radio, I know I've done it before so hope I can figure it out again.

Lovely and sunny here too - and all things on my To Do list are for inside!

Opened up my local Facebook selling group yesterday, listed a few items and sold 2 within 30 mins! We still have a load of the Old Sailor's stuff to clear so will be listing them over next few days.
Social distancing is observed with item by front door and me one side of garden gate and buyer the other and money in a plastic bag.

Time for another mug of tea.

Hope all is OK, Linda and that you don't need an ambulance.

Oh dear sorry to hear that Private Buttons, I do hope he will be O.K. and the GP can sort him out rather than the hospital.

Had to do a quick trip to the P.O. as had four direct hits yesterday and two of them were from someone that should know better (thank you) who must have been skiving off the target practice I sent them on last time !
Right had better have a little tipple to get over the shock, just as well I have a friend coming round in a minute so she can join me !

Morning all. Another sunny day ahead. It does seem the world is full of troubles of many kinds. The kettle is on.
