Think positive, these lockdown weeks are buying you valuable time.

Over thinking is not constructive, it is damaging emotionally and so time wasteful.
Action is required...... finance planning especially.

In the meantime, there are lots of other things to devote energy to:

remove your own ironing from the pile, do it, and leave the rest
plan tempting dishes for ONE and sit down calmly and eat them
put all valuable personal possessions in a safe place
if you haven't already done so, remove yourself to another bedroom and put a lock on the door
enjoy the outdoor garden space, get creative - give brain valuable back burner time to rethink everything
    start a craft project

project a calm, strong outward exterior - anything less will empower him and fuel his ego!

    etc etc etc

Unhappy Re: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!

So sorry to read your news Becky, but you are strong you can get through it, I know I have never been married so cannot begin to understand what it must be like to make a life with someone for it all to end years later but I had boyfriends that let me down, after the last one I decided that was it, no man was putting me through that again, and they have not in fact he did me a favour as I went on to buy my own home and when he came to see me a few years later to try and pick up where he left off I took one look at him stood on my doorstep and thought 'they say love is blind I must have bloody been' felt good to show him what I had achieved on my own.

Get your finances sorted and if you have to sell your house after 36 years don't dispair just think 'new beginnings' I found it hard having to sell my bungalow after loosing my job due to ill health but I bought my present home, ended up mortgage free but now at 66 years planning to move nearer family and friends and because house prices are higher in that area contemplating a small 'later in life' mortgage, if I can do it you can, it will be tough but we are made of strong stuff it's in our genes. Stay strong we are all here for you to share a new path in your life.

Life is going to be different for everyone after this lock down is all over but we will come through it.👍👍

It seems he has two or three other women in mind that he would like to go travelling with because I can't do all the hiking and cycling and things that he wants to do !

So sorry to hear about this.
    Do put yourself FIRST.
Stash cash away and hidden where he wouldn't look for.

I am so lucky to have 6 cats that love me no matter what.

Good morning all. It is indeed a sad time for us all, on so many different levels. The kettle is on and I have requisitioned a crate of
special additive, help yourselves. Stay safe, stay healthy.

Morning one and all. Thanks for the tea, Red - I've had 2 mugs already!

Getting rather concerned about the news regarding care homes and this corona virus.
And as usual, the WAG are about 4-5 weeks behind the rest of UK in getting anything done - total waste of space and our money.

So today, I'm back checking p&p editing as managed to miss a few. Nothing major, but a nuisance all the same.

Have all a good day; enjoy the sunshine and stay safe - and hugs for Becky.

    forewarned is forearmed.....

my recent hospital phone appointment - approx 20 mins - very genial, caring etc etc etc, very enquiring - pleased with progress - acknowledges temporary relief along with ongoing need for treatment - then suddenly DISCHARGED.
    Explanation:

"funding has expired..... it's shelf life was 2 years - BUT, "I have not closed the door on you - you need to go back to your GP and request a referral back to your Consultant. I know it is stupid but it is the system. Sorry. Goodbye".

Thank you troops for all your kind words. Think I'm through the initial upsetting stage and just feel numb now with the virus situation and everything else, I just feel as if I'm in some kind of nightmare and I'll wake up soon.

    Oh woe is me my
bombs in disguise have exploded and I got another direct hit yesterday. (yippee)
