Morning all, kettle is on. I hope you are all planting seeds. This is long term and some lettuce and radishes planted in the window box
will be very welcome in a few weeks time. Flowers are nice but fresh veg is nicer !!!

We've also thought about planting veggie seeds although not sure where yet. I know I have a few packets of flower seeds somewhere but no idea if there are still any veggie ones.

The postage editing continues - just one more store to do; and that will be it until next year

I've just been brought a mug of coffee

Ello troops. Just been out for the first time in a week and after queuing for twenty minutes in the cold was told the shop would be closed for over an hour for restocking so I will have to go back again later this afternoon and queue all over again ! Had to come home to defrost.

Now who was on guard duty while I was out ? I somehow seem to have acquired a bomb in disguise while I was away !

Morning - now on my 2nd big mug of tea.

Well, it looks like we're not going to get our refund from Tui. Reading their Facebook page and the MSE Travel forums, they're holding out for a change in Government regulations to be able to offer vouchers instead
So we're going down the Section 75 credit card claim route. Not pleased at all as it was allegedly 'processed' on 16 March. More form filling.....

Have all a good day and stay safe.

Annie hope the form filling goes okay,

Well wouldn't let me in it didn't reconise me or pass word anyway it decided to let me in when I put pass word in today, but let me in as Somer to do his relists yesterday.

Any way N, drove & stay in the car away from everything & managed to get all his meds as checked before going, they were well orginised then I went to Lidl & they were well stock apart from hand wash stuff & no wipes, but everything else was okay, plenty of fresh fruit & veg & meat & with what already have in freezer have plenty to last us for a week the only think that might need is milk.

Was so nice seeing the lambs skipping around in the fields on the way out yesterday.

Gather that if had gone to Morrisons there was a long queue to pay.

Stay safe everyone. right now to persude Somer time to go into the garden & to a couple of little things its hard to get him to move

Ello troops. We still haven't got our refund from Ryan Air Private Mcc2. They say we will get it but as to when is anybodies guess as the amount of refunds to be processed must be gigantic !

Glad to report the youngest cadet and daughter-in-law seem to be recovering well so that is a relief. He sounded much better when I spoke to him on the phone.

O/H has been out on his bike this morning and cycled to Bristol and back so hopefully that will put him in a good mood for the rest of the day ! Thankfully he didn't get a puncture like last time so didn't have to go and rescue him !

Ello troops a day of reflection for me today. A salute for the Old Soldier and Private Meebo who sadly left us 4 years ago and 1 year ago today.

Private Meebo's last post, always thinking of others.
