Morning - think I need a mug that size Trish has still doing battle with Powys CC overcharging the Old Sailor for non-existent Home Care visits whilst he was in hospital!

And for once, himself on checking the invoices and dates, agrees with me.

And then there's the postage editing...

Ello troops. Hand now swollen to twice it's normal size - from the horse fly bite, not the clapping last night ! Still I managed to get the rest of the grass cut yesterday.

I know the modern technology is good for keeping in contact but already getting a bit fed up with the intrusion. O/H was talking for two blerdy hours with all his tennis club mates last night on Zoom so I couldn't do anything in that room.
Again this morning he was talking to other teachers from his school, at least that was about work ! Methinks I will be wishing I was in isolation by myself by the end of this !

Lieutenant Maplegin the cadet seems to be a bit better, thanks for asking, at least that is the impression he is giving when messaging as I know he won't want to worry me.

Sgt glad you think the cadet is improving, yes they never want to worry us.

Just had a good one with MIL, the Rat catcher had been & put another load of poison down & couldn't find any dead bodies lyeing around, but couldn't see MIL in the lounge so he thought he 'd let us know, & also she has put bird food out again. So rang her & she says haven't put any food out as know I mustn't so we nattered for a bit & then she says the Birds are enjoying the peanuts that I put out for them, so what do you do! the guy will go up again next week & check all around again.

Have been getting a few jobs done but not much to see for it. but at least know its been done.

    Everyone stay safe

    Thank you Red

Another sunny start to the day but the clouds are moving in and feels cooler.

Nearly finished my book store postage editing; postcards & trading cards done - now for the rest.... thank heavens for the Bulk Edit option.

Spoke to the Old Sailor yesterday - he's a little confused with all that's going on and wanted to know why I hadn't been in to see him I just hope his treatment & meds are carrying on as the hospital instructed but I have no way of finding out without seeing him.

Time for another mug of tea.

Thanks for putting the kettle on was welcome when I got back from dog walk its a real chilly wind, back to winter out there today, but still sunny we have had a few days when we have been spoilt with some warm weather.

Am worried Somer has done 2 of the jobs that have been waiting for a good couple of months so that's a start, still wonder if might get the last bit of tiling done.

Am plodding on with the relisting,& waiting for him to sort postage editing out.

Hi, everyone. Yeppers, it's cold out today. We have 4 baby bunnies living in a hole under the cement slabs in the middle of the old greenhouse. Mom built the nest when it was so wet out. They are so adorable!

Be sure to check out online posts and videos about how to handle incoming food and mail deliveries. It's not just all about distance from people. So do be careful.

Blackbirds and chaffinches and a nut hatch eating seeds off the driveway this morning. So pretty. We have a pair of woodpeckers that have been showing up and enjoying the fatballs out back. The pheasant who has been showing up daily for a week and a half hasn't made the rounds yet this morning. He was so pretty.
