Morning - still tired and achey from all this sorting out Dad's stuff. Will be glad when all the big stuff has gone which will give us a bit more room.

He made us laugh yesterday as he thinks that he can takes boxes of books, CDs, tools, etc. and store them under his bed in the Care Home to sort out later! No way!

Trying to fit in some postage editing and getting no-where at the moment.

The washing has finished so better go and put it in the drier - seems to be never ending at the moment with bringing home the Old Sailor's pyjamas every day.

Ello troops. Another wonderful wet and soggy day on the parade ground - sigh.

The garden bin has just been emptied so I want to get out there to cut up some more of the never ending holly but it's just too miserable. I shall have to brave it for the P.O. later, don't worry nothing from here. It seems to have gone quiet again after such a busy month in February, maybe everybody is buying loo rolls instead ?!

I know I need it at the moment! WFF frozen dinners have just been collected; Phoenix Furniture have just been to say what they can - and cannot take and I've just emptied the Old Sailor's wardrobe.....

Can see a few visits to the tip/recycling yard in the next few days.

Grabbing a mug of coffee before I go back for more sorting. Just had a charity clothes collection sack put through the door which might help.

Thank you Private Kite, that's more like it !

It's so nice to see a bit of sun for the first time in days. Beware of those sacks Private Mcc2, read the small print carefully, more than often a very 'small' percentage goes to an actual charity and it is usually a big company making the money on the clothes. I always ignore them and take my stuff direct to a charity shop unless the sack is from a well known charity.

Still putting off going into town to pick up holiday stuff, I suppose I will have to do it next week. Might try and get into the garden today if things dry out a bit.

yes nice to see sunshine, we have been to the auction today & came home with nearly as much as we put in on Monday, but guess what bought PC & some stamps, so have spent the afternoon sorting again, one good thing it had a card of this village that I don't have am pleased.

Annie hope you get through all the sorting, its amazing what we all keep just in case.

Talking to MIL this afternoon & she can't find her phone book, she doesn't know who has moved it, so had to look up her nephews phone number for her, she has about 4 books with numbers in but she does loose them often. Also have rung the gas service care line as her heating isn't working properly its a cold house anyway, without it not working, anyway they are going in tomorrow afternoon.

Hope we get a few more days with sunshine then can get a bit more done in the garden

Don't worry, they don't get the good stuff! More like the stuff that would otherwise have gone in the wheelie bin!
