You can say that again - thought our roof was going to take off at times!

It appears we're surrounded by floods again so may not be able to visit the Old Sailor this afternoon.

When will the floods & wind stop, there doesn't seem to be a let up. to add to it we have busses instead of trains in the area, plus they are working at the station & also dealing with a landslip which seems to involve several diggers, & at 7am this morning they were running pumps & noisey machinery, so there seems to be some noise out there & gather may be all next week as well. they did send letters to all the households so mustn't complain really

Annie hope you are stocked up with treats for the old sailor, & that you are able to visit him.

'Ello troops. So fed up with this weather, the gale woke me up really early this morning and I just dozed after that. Still at least it's not raining ... at the moment !

Oh woe is me my bomb in disguise exploded this morning and I also got another direct hit yesterday, what happened to the days when we didn't see any battle action for weeks ? It's been amazing this month, which means I can't even shout at Private Moon for losing five !



I think I need a little trip to the mess to counter the shock !

I've also had 4 npb's this month Private Wicca but, much to my dismay of course, (yippee !) I've had 16 that have been paid for and it's not even the end of the month yet. Shakes head in disbelief ... what is the world coming to ?!

Still at least I managed to fill up the green garden bin with holly again yesterday while it was dry. The pile now seems to be getting a little smaller but still plenty to go.

Well the wind was very strong this morning you could throw the ball for the dog one way & wind would take it, the only good thing was waited till I got home before it rained & seems to be going on all morning, I had hoped to follow Sgts example & get are green bin filled up.

have reminded somer about YDC's.

Bright rain here, at the moment. Well, rain, anyway. Water is clear, and I see a tiny band of blue sky under the gray clouds at the horizon, so, yeah, bright out.
But wet.
