Buttons so sorry you are just not having a good time, we feel for you hence the reason for not having 9am appoinments unless really necessary like when dog had to have op & had to be in 1st thing, which was very hard for somer.

Yes sunshine here now which always makes me cheer up, though the aches & pains are still there, & yes thank goodness you are right Annie no watering to the plants, as though we did have rain early morning

Majesty thats sounds a good idea rubber everywhere so people can't injury themselves.

Never again Maple, it takes my ages to be able to even get out of the bed and then have to get going slowly as cant take tablets and drive and then to have got going to go and do a stupid thing like that as i was rushing ( said loosely as my idea of rushing is about the same speed as a tortoise ) still I am still breathing so all is good pain won't kill me, gee that stair lift hasnt half come in handy, i dont know how we managed without it before.

Ah, yes. some nice sun outside. I have been doing an experiment with the root ends of lettuce I have used. I let them sit for a day to seal the cut, then place the root end in a little water. For Romaine lettuce, new leaves will start coming out of the middle. I saw it on pintrest, but didn't really believe it. Mine are several weeks old now, out on the patio, and are getting roots. The new leaves are about 2" tall. I don't know how big they will get, but am tempted to put them in soil now for more nutrients and less water logging of the outside leaves. I already do this with spring onions.....I think you say salad onions. I leave a bit of white above the roots when I trim them for use. Let them dry for a day, then plant in a pot of soil. They regenerate, and you get onions all over again for free!! I've done this for several years.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Moonie, if we lived closer, we'd be right over. You have no idea how good that sounds. We've been almost 3 months now without a stove top or oven. October seems a long way off.

Morning one and all from a sunny Mid Wales. How long it will last is anyone's guess!

Himself is back driving his bus for a couple of days so I have time and space to get a few things done without being interrupted.

Knees very sore again but easing a bit now the meds are kicking in - just wish my Outpatients appt. letter would hurry up so I know where I stand as possible/probable surgery, etc.

Your Maj - why so long without a cooker? We have a tabletop one which is brilliant for the 2 of us. The big oven only gets used at Christmas now!

Time for another mug of tea.

We're S of you...……...just overcast and a tiny breeze. But I guess Cardiff is scheduled for rain/thunder etc, so we will probably get some later. Of course, I have just done laundry, so it may go in the dryer instead of outside.
