What a day after PC World tried to pull a fast one. Himself had picked out the laptop he wished to purchase only to be told it wasn't in stock, but it was in stock at another branch the other side of Edinburgh - so they reserved it for him. So off we trundle round the Edinburgh ring road through the beginnings of the weekend traffic build up to collect it.

When we got there, we discovered that there was quite a price difference for the same model between the 2 stores. Turns out the Musselburgh store had got the wrong price label on display - hence the claim that it wasn't in stock! The manager at the 2nd store was livid and is going to report the 1st store - but he got the sale.

Just as well we'd booked a 2nd night at the campsite! As if it doesn't work, we can take it back in passing tomorrow on our way to next campsite.

Time for a glass of wine methinks

Morning all. Very wet in South Bucks this morning. Kettle is on, I will see if I can find a little something for Sarge!

'Morning red, thanks for putting the kettle on.
Any chance you could share that 'little something'? I feel in need of a little pick me up!
Its wet and windy here in Suffolk, quite a difference from last weekend, which was lovely and sunny.

Sorry you have been given the run around private Mcc2, that is very norty !

Thank you Private Kite I could do with a 'little something'. So much for getting the tank fixed yesterday. They said I would still get a few more months out of my tyre if I had the tracking done, so I agreed, and then they came back and said the steering was pulling slightly to the left so I also agreed to have that corrected. In all it cost me £60 then just as I was leaving the mechanic ran out to catch me and said that I should get it checked again in a month as it would probable happen again as was prone on an old tank ?! It would have been cheaper to just get a new tyre and let the steering wear it out again !!!

Now I'm very pleased with you troops. The listing numbers have gone up again to 4,300,817 so keep up the good work !

Afternoon all from a rather wet and soggy Forfar.

Can now say we've been over the new Forth road bridge which reminded me of the Severn 2nd Crossing bridge in design + also crossed over the Tay road bridge which doesn't compare!

Had hoped to attend the Strathmore Games at Glamis Castle tomorrow but somehow don't think so after all this rain.

    Trust everyone is well.

Missing, MISSING ?! What do you mean missing ?!!!
It had better become un-missing pronto otherwise nobody will be having a very good day !
Right me thinks we will start with a little light exercise before listing ... so that bottle had better reappear !

    Morning all,

Have done the relists to help with the numbers Sgt lets hope they keep up now.

So far has stayed dry today so put washing out, but had to do a load of cutting back as the honey suckle has gone mad since yesterdays mixed weather was unable to get out the back gate because of it. So no doubt Sgt you'll bre out there cutting back again soon.

Took Rex to vets for change of dressing & he was fine but can't understand why he can't go upstairs, so its hard for him he lies there quiet happy as long as we are both there, doesn't like it on his own, so tomorrow will be interesting as have to go out with him. he cant understand that his plate they have put in needs to be aloud to settle & flesh grow round it.

    Hope everyone is okay.
