Not a good night as just could not get settled so consequently sore all over now.

Today is getting stuff ready to pack the MH as well as doing the Old Sailor's food shop followed by a nap - retirement has it's uses

Mornin' troops. Now who was on guard duty yesterday, she said looking round for someone to blame ... ? Of course it couldn't have been my fault I was much too busy with YDC payments and checking the stock in the mess !

Got my regulation short back and sides today at the army barber.

Then tomorrow I have to go back to the dentist yet again because it was a disaster last time. He took off the temporary covering which was really painful and nearly made me shoot through the roof and then the blerdy crown wouldn't fit properly. The lab had mucked it up somehow ! So I now have to go tomorrow to have more impressions taken, which means uncovering the tooth yet again and having another temporary, and having to wait two more weeks to have it made again.

They are threatening rain but looks okay at present, we are off to the vets again, Rex is tryin to walk on the tip of his toe, but most of the time he keeps it up. well had better go & take him again.

Morning troops. Crikey, think I need a holiday or at least a trip to the mess after that epic YDC ! I'm glad meebo's daughter and Clive were pleased with the results.

Sigh, not looking forward to my dentist trip this morning. My tooth has been really sensitive to the cold since he recovered it on Tuesday so I know it's going to hurt taking the temporary covering off again !



Looks like another trip to Teignmouth is on the cards for father's day weekend and the oldest cadet has said he's coming down from Surrey too so it will be nice to have the whole family together again.
