My GP was a lot more sympathetic this time round and has started the ball rolling and agreed that I'll probably end up back at Gobowen/Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital before too long.
So X-Rays first of my hip and possibly also my other knee .....

I hope everything goes ok for you today.

Re the quote above: this makes interesting reading, particularly the Cross Border Issues bit. Seems that you can thank devolution for many issues.

That's good news that they are actually going to do something for you at last Private Mcc2. Hopefully at some time in the future you won't have to hobble with a stick any more !

Lieutenant Maplegin I hope you have been successfully wired up.

Might have to take a trip to the docs myself next week as have had a weird pain in my stomach for the last couple of days. I'm hoping it's just a pulled muscle and will go away but suspect it might be a hernia from my gall bladder operation. Will have to wait and see.

When I had my total knee replacement surgery, I had to wait 36 weeks from being added to the waiting list instead of the 18 weeks if I lived in Shropshire.

I gather it's now more likely to be a year if I need a new hip

Tea is made. There's also coffee for those that prefer.

Got to be careful with these new pain killers as they make me feel all fuzzy and warm So no driving - or alcohol !!!

Good morning all yes am all wired up have to keep on till bed time Saturday, also keep a diary,

We managed to get to Bank I went to pound shop & was almost waste of time out of what I needed & lots of queues , We had lunch out & then home, & Somer was tired so went straight to bed & slept for 6hours & then woke him to eat & tablets & still managed a good nights sleep,

Could be interesting as heard from the practice they want N to go to pain managemet & also will include exercise, could be interesting.

Well lets hope Annie you don't have to wait to long to see someone at the hospital.

Oh Lieutenant Maplegin, Corporal Somerset is being ordered to do P.T. ?! Does it start off with gentle tiling and then work it's way up to ...

    ?!

Right must think about getting my quarters cleaned up as have my brother and his lady staying on Sunday night en route to Bristol airport and Spain. They have to be there at some ungodly hour of the night so are snatching a few hours sleep here first.
