Ello troops. Please put a bit more sawdust down on that parade ground. O/H went out with his mates last night so I invited a friend from across the road over and we got through rather a lot of left over Christmas drinks !



Well it just had to be done to make way for the New Year stock !

Methinks I shall have a quiet day today and will attempt to get the decorations down when I can stand up straight. Please type as quietly as you can !

Totally with you there. I'm as bad and probably worse. I get less done now than when I was working (probably the "I can do it tomorrow" mentality).

I'm good at buying all the stuff to do a job. Just a pity you can't buy motivation.

Weather is also a factor. I put things off because "It's too hot". When it's not too hot then "It's too cold". I'm not sure what temperature would actually get me off my backside.

Well, you must be my brother from another mother! Yeah, I used to be able to raise my kids, be a scout leader, do school volunteer work, church volunteer work, drive a couple hours each way each week to help my parents, have an art career, write, have a veggie garden, can and freeze the results, cook, clean, renovate the house with OH and finish the basement complete with brick fireplace, sew, knit, do all the taxes, take courses, and meet up with friends. Now, instead of incorporating several of those activities into a day, if I get one done a week, I feel like I'm overdoing it!! But I rarely overdo it, as I rarely can get motivated enough to get off my assets to even start. sigh. I wish there was a magic elixir to help.

Well, I had a busy day. Even managed to bake a cheesecake, banana muffins and choc chip cookies. Then we went out this afternoon and after that some friends dropped in (I wonder if they smelled the baking) So now I am ready to drop. Early start to get to the hospital in the morning and school starts tomorrow, so I want to be gone before the children get on the bus. I'll be back tomorrow evening

Ello troops. Decorations are down and back to boring dull January, roll on spring. O/H back at work today so at least I will get a bit of peace to clear up the pine needles ! Will have to clear up a bit as he's tutoring one of his students here later this afternoon.

I want to take some more photos but it's so dark and overcast at the moment think I might have to tackle the dreaded ironing instead.

I don't know what's up with me today but I am chicken soup poorly

Meebo is busy getting back into shape, Sarge is busy being ironic, Annie is playing Mother, Mael is snoozing, Maple is relisting, moonie is munching chicken noodle soup, and I'm listening to OH snoring. Somehow that has become his pastime lately.
