I applaud and endorse your pragmatic approach, moonie. Usually I can't make my resolutions stick more than a month or so. I've just been doing it all wrong!! Thanks for the insight!!

I don't make resolutions. Anyway, good morning to you all. I'll do canteen duty shortly before I walk slowly to the bus stop. And then it'll be another few hours at the Marsden. They must be getting sick of the sight of me. I'll be back later
Morning - trust all goes well for you meebo.
Looks like there was a hard frost overnight and there's also thick fog out there - and I have to pop out later to do the Old Sailor's food shop as he's run out of blueberry muffins!
Did manage a couple of new listings yesterday but also losted 6 - sorry Sarge.
Take care all.
just managed to get my long waited for GP appointment for this afternoon, i suppose i will have to work out how to work the lights in my car this morning, i have set it to auto but think I have to set beams as well and also figure out how to put petrol in it, why cant they leave things alone instead of putting new fangled bits to confuse me
Just popped in to say..
Someone mentioned muffins?
Here ya go! Tuck in..
hmmm, nom, nom, nom
A special recipe for the Sarge..

All the best to you all for 2019.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.
Meebo hope your visit to Marsden goes well, & think you said you will be there tomorrow as well, hope you know your way around by now.
Buttons glad you have an appoinment, hope GP can help.
Have done some more relists.
Ello troops. O/H gone kayaking with a mate on the River Avon so having a peaceful morning until he gets back with all his stinky wet clobber ! Grrr if it's not gym stuff it's tennis stuff or running stuff or cycling stuff. My poor washing machine, I seem to fill it every single day with all the horrible sweaty kit. He creates more washing than a houseful of kids !
Private Bear that is indeed a very good recipe.
(methinks he's trying to win brownie points ... has he been selling something she wonders suspiciously ?!)
SIX ?!!! Private Mcc2 that is a terrible start to the new year, I'm speechless - silently hands over the potato peeler ! Have you forgotten with all the Christmas wine that our glorious eBid army motto is 'Nothing ever sells on an alternative site' ?
Private Meebo why on earth are you having to take the bus ? Didn't the tank commander wake up in time ?!
Private Buttons I hate all the new fangled tank gadgets. I just want something that you can put a key in, put petrol in, and it goes without loads of electrics that throw up faults all the time and costs a fortune to repair.

I still cant figure out how to get petrol in it, it has a stupid flap that locks or something but no idea on how to unlock it surely it doesnt just open when you poke it, i think I will be going on the bus as well
Buttons - sometimes there's a little tab or button inside the driver's side that you push to unlock the tab of the petrol tank.....
The owner's manual in the glove box should give you a how to do it.
