The sunset has been beautiful here. Just come back from Chippenham where I managed to stagger around and find a few pieces of stock, one quite valuable piece which I'm quite excited about ! Of course I had to do a little recruiting at a couple of the Wiltshire pubs on the way home ... I felt it was my duty of course !



Have reopened my shops so back on guard duty. Just hope my tank will start after standing still over Christmas for such a long time.

My shops are still closed as I am going back to work after my birthday on the 4th January

Billy loved our Christmas dinner so much he has told his daughter that we will have her over once a month for Christmas dinner again...then he ran the idea by me.....lol

Good morning! Husband told me that I slept soundly. I did apologise but he said I was very quiet. Anyway, I feel rested. So canteen duty now.

And I didn't sleep soundly as my knees playing up again + leg cramps. Will take co-codamol before bed tonight methinks.

Think we're going to look at/price up a new cooker this morning - an expense we could do without at the moment.
The hob is still OK on the old one + we have a tabletop oven which is used 98% of the time [and cheaper to run] + the microwave, so no immediate rush.

Apart from that nothing else planned although still need to take some new photos for new listings but the light has been terrible of late - and I can't scan the items

Think I will tidy up the 'office' instead!

Ello troops. Right must get myself motivated to getting back into the swing of things and dust off my camera. I want to weed out some old things too over the coming weeks to freshen up my shops and make everything pristine !



Found a great video of how the old Gweek boatyard in Cornwall is being regenerated. When I was at primary school we used to go on nature walks, picking wild flowers for the nature table, down to the boatyard in the 1960's and all that was there then was an old crane a couple of rusty corrugated sheds and a couple of old rusty coal barges. So great to see something from my childhood now thriving.
