Good morning! Well, as it is Sunday I managed to sleep a whole hour longer - til 4 . Daughter is coming today to stay a few days. It'll be nice to have a proper conversation. Barney is a good listener, but it is hard when you don't get replies to what you are saying.. Anyway, I will try and clear a bit more from my to-do list. That should keep me out of mischief. Might even get a few things listed this week, and / or finish one of several UFOs.
Off to the canteen now. I'll probably won't be back til tomorrow

Thanks for the tea, meebo - needed that 1st mug after a restless night due to twisting my knee - again.

It's eldest grandson's birthday today - he's all of 6 years old! Where does time fly as it seems to be only yesterday we were waiting for the news from Vancouver about his birth.
So it will be a Skype call later this afternoon to wish him Happy Birthday.

Time for another mug of tea before I check on the Old Sailor.

    Have all a good day.

Thanks for the cuppa was gratefully received as somer was still asleep when I got back from dog walking then had to sort the cat out for next door.

Had a very nervous dog last night there seemed to lots of fireworks hope we don't get that tonight again.

Have done the relsits & we both listed some more yesterday & todays list is to get the next lot of Cards ready, boxes don't seem to be shrinking though.

Good morning! Daughter arrived yesterday afternoon and as I got married 48 years ago today and husband is absent, we will have lunch out. So not a lot of work will be done. Or tomorrow. I will need to sort out something to do during the waiting time in hospital. And there will be a lot of waiting time. for today I will just need to do a bit of shopping, then lunch and the rest of the day relaxing. Or possibly a little more tidying in my craft room. , or list the pile of books that are by my feet. And maybe list for the next YDC....Well, I won;t be bored, that's for sure. Have a great day, I know I will

Morning one and all - think both my knees need the oil can this morning - by golly they ache/hurt.

As I have to go out soon, I'm full of painkillers, etc. so if I go off on one, that's the reason why!

Hope everyone is well and unscathed after all the fireworks over the weekend. I see we have some out on the lawn that must have come over the fence last night.

    Happy Anniversary meebo & Clive.

ATTTENNNNSHUN - Mornin' troops, I know you will all be overjoyed to see me back in the barracks ready to brush up your defense skills so we will have no more of the partying that I suspect has been going on (well only me in the mess) while I have been away !

Had a lovely sortie to the Cornish outpost and the sun was out for the first two days. Went to St Ives, Penryn, Falmouth and of course needless to say for a pint of Spingo at the Blue Anchor in Helston. Had a nice meal with my brother and his girlfriend here at the Red Lion at Mawnan Smith, I was working it out and calculated I hadn't been there for about 40 years ! As you can see from the photo below it is also popular with American troops !

Now who was on guard duty while I was away as I seem to have misplaced 3 of my precious listings ? ... scowls around looking for someone to blame !

    Happy anniversary Private Meebo !
