Sgt have just done 400 of Somers relists done.

We had to activare our home serve policy & have had the plummer out, the upstairs loo blooked we tried but couldn't but it was less than 5minuets it was all done, had to laugh he had his tablet with him & he had to get a before & after picture , so apart from ditching th loo brush its fine now, he said sometimes we all try not to use the water enough , anyway functioning loo again, not nice having 2 go down to flights of stairs at night

How come Meebo can find a PO open on a Sunday.

Morning - chucking down with rain again so doesn't look as though the grandies will be able to go outside like yesterday.

The babysitter is here and is doing a sterling job as one grandson is very clingy to his Mum and doesn't like being left, even with us here.

How come Meebo can find a PO open on a Sunday.

My P.O. is open on a Sunday Lieutenant Maplegin. It's part of a newsagent shop and the shop staff are trained to run the P.O. counter. The post office is always open when the shop is, right up to about 10pm in the evenings. The parcels won't get picked up until Monday by Royal Mail though.

Well my PO is in an off licence and open till 11 pm 7 days a week

Good morning! It's hospital for me today. I'll found out if the scan last week revealed anything new. I feel a little apprehensive for no reason that I can think of, but I can't help it. OH is taken my out to lunch and this afternoon we have a friend visit. Last night I finished the tie! It took 20 years or so, but I am very pleased with the result. I'll take a photo when we have daylight. Now it's time to go to the canteen to make tea and coffee. I even remembered to defrost bread yesterday.....Better get a move on. See you later

Morning all, are PO is a corner shop & the PO counter is closed evenings & Sundays, but thats good that you can use the PO, we have left things with the owner & she has delt with it in the morning.

Well another miserable day here, we had hoped to go out to the pack Monday fair in Sherborne but as its bad weather we won't bother, so means may get some listing done, mind you have been having a battle to do somers relists as fast as was putting them on more were coming off.It also means somer won't get a train ride this year.

Another grey miserable day here on the parade ground. I actually got round to making my Christmas Cake yesterday and it is now soaking in a liberal dose of brandy ! A shame I won't be able to eat any this year ... oh well, I suppose I had better just have the brandy without the cake !

I am back. I love the x-ray pic, sarge. Sadly they did find something. 2 years ago they discovered a small lump on one of my kidneys and it has suddenly grown. I also have now a lump on one of my lungs. So on Thursday I will be discussed and probably have a biopsy in the not too distant future to determine what sort of lumps they are. After that, treatment of some sort. It's wait and see time. So I shall be seeing a bit more of the inside of the Royal Marsden by the looks of things. I am now going to have a siesta. See you later

Afternoon - we are home and shattered! Thank goodness we don't have to babysit the grandies too often......

As we weren't sleeping in the house, we had to stay up until gone 1am this morning for the partying wedding guests to return. Two of them have massive hangovers - serve them right!

A lazy afternoon and early night tonight to catch up.
