Thread: Over half a million auctions at last!!!!

Mornin' troops. Survived the trudge up the hills this morning after dropping off the tank at the garage and pleased it was only spitting with rain and not pouring. Also had to pop to the P.O., don't worry it was from my website so my invisability cloak hasn't slipped !(sob)

Managed to cut a couple of sacks of shrubs back yesterday but didn't have a very good evening as was doubled up with gall stone pain. Think I shall be taking it easy today.

That's a sad report from the storms Private Mcc2.

Hope Barney makes a good recovery Private Meebo and that you get all your uniform washed for your sortie to the Netherlands Private Wicca.

    Good morning all,

Very damp & still windy here but not as bad as yesterdays wind, thou the road has loads of leaves on them

Well been trying to catch up on Somers relists & as fast as I put them on more came off.

Sgt hope the tank will be okay when you collect it.

Humph, the garage have just phoned Lieutenant Maplegin and have said I can't have it back until tomorrow as they need to order another part as something was rusty and it snapped when they tried to take it off - in other words they've broken my tank ! Good job I don't have to go anywhere this evening otherwise I would have to improvise !

Erm ... and the wind must have blown up my invisibility cloak as I seem to have mislaid a listing ... I have put two more on though.

Good afternoon from Achill Island on the Atlantic coast of Co. Mayo where all is quiet and still after the mayhem of the last 2 days.

We have the site almost to ourselves along with 2 German camper vans and a friendly dog

    Sausage casserole for supper.

Good morning! Still windy, but the clouds seem to be blown away. It is not so grey as in the last couple of days. I started making new lampshades for the dining room ceiling light - a project that has been a long time on my to- do-list. I hope they will turn out as I want them to. So now I am off to the canteen to put the kettle on before the day starts properly

Morning - rather blustery last night but blue skies again this morning - so all is well.

It was more a case of what is in the store cupboard Your Maj! sausages, onion, garlic, small red pepper, small tins of baked beans & tomatoes, chicken stock cube, tomato puree + seasoning. Served with toasted Soda farls [thick slices of soda bread]. Very tasty it was too.

Off to tour the island today and it's fresh salmon for tonight.

Mornin' troops. Was on cat feeding duty this morning as neighbours have gone off to Spain again. At least this time I have a shared duty rota with another person so don't have to do them again until Sunday.

I suppose I will be waiting around all day for my phone call from the garage. Hope they don't take too long as I need to get yesterdays hit to the P.O.
