    Morning one and all.

Sarge, that's one reason why I use myHermes to send anything over LL now. The agent is at the local petrol station just up the road and I can park there + there are no queues.
We did have a sub PO just round the corner but that closed years ago in the 1st round of small PO closures.

Today we start packing the MH ready for our Irish sojourn so my Holiday Notice goes on this weekend

But first another mug of tea.

I might have to resort to MyHermes for my YDC parcels if they haven't fixed the post office computer today. You are lucky your drop off is at a garage. I do use MyHermes for heavy or bulky parcels but it's a bit of a pain as the little shop nearest me that takes them is on the very busy London Road coming into Bath so you can't park outside and the streets round the back of the shop are usually jam packed so it's very difficult to find a parking space. They also closed my local post office that I could walk to several years ago in the 1st round of cuts.

My brother has just come back from two weeks in Ireland in his camper van, I hope you get a bit less rain then he did !
He said the countryside was beautiful though.

Right I had better rev the tank up and see if the P.O. is open.

Morning! Yes it is nice outside. Went out early with Barney for him to dig a little in the flower beds while I picked a few apples. I am debating if I should pick them all and fill some of my preserving jars before we go. More washing to do as it rained so much yesterday morning which put me off turning on the machine

Good morning all, well have done the relists.

Its warmer here today & washing drying well.

Sgt think you have to pass the potatoe peeler, as he has some bombs to go off this week. & while hes at it perhaps he can also peal the apples for cooking

Hope Sgt you are able to get to the PO, though we only have one window for the po they have kept the 2nd window equipment, so when theres went down could still work

At least your P.O. has some sense Lieutenant Maplegin. Mine was back on line yesterday thank goodness.

Major panic this morning as O/H lost his communication device. After searching the house from top to bottom it was finally located down the side of his tank seat where it had fallen out of his pocket !

Now while I was searching (got to have a good excuse) I seem to have lost one of my precious listings. Also I have had secret intelligence that I might have an infiltrator in the barracks tomorrow morning trying to pinch a listing so I'm going to have to plan an ambush from behind my front door ! Tut what with Corporal Somerset's misdemeanors how are we ever going to get back to the 4 million mark ?!

Morning! My holiday notice is up too. A very busy weekend and at some point we will have to pack our cases. Canteen duty for today is done. Outside it is sunny and a pleasant temperature. Later I must venture into town to get rabbit supplies for his holidays. So I think this day isn't going to be long enough to do everything I want to. Have a great day, everyone
