Morning everyone - it's going to be another warm one.

The Dyfi Osprey Project are collecting pre-decimal [1967] coins and I remembered that I had a boxfull that we found after my mother passed away. The tin of Edward VII pennies alone weighs 3kg! None of them are worth keeping as all are so worn and unreadable - but 3kg? Taking them up on Tuesday when we visit the Project. Just hope they don't switch off the cameras that day whilst ringing the chicks as that's due next week.

Time for another mug of tea.

Mornin' troops. We actually had some wet stuff outside yesterday so I didn't have to water the parade ground last night.

Off for my regulation short back and sides this morning so should feel a bit cooler ! O/H went to stay with a friend in the New Forest last night and is cycling home - he's mad in this heat, it's about 70 miles ! I bet he comes back dehydrated and with pulled muscles, I'm afraid I won't have any sympathy !

Morning one and all - another sunny, warm one methinks.

Kettle's on, tea is made and there is a fresh supply of coffee pods, etc.

Today, we will be mostly putting earth & compost back into the flower bed now the retaining wall is repaired. A lot of it will have to be sieved to get the pebbles out ......

But first, a mug of tea.

Do you need to sieve the pebbles out? A few will improve the drainage of the soil. Just an idea which might save you a lot of hard work!
