Well done Penni. Can remember the 1st time I did the M6/A14 journey on my own - terrified until I actually joined the M6 off the M54 - and everything was OK.

Enjoy the sunshine and remember the sunscreen

Well, as we talk about early driving experiences (well done, Penni) I drove to Germany 2 weeks after taking my test. Haven't done it since...

Good morning! How is everyone today? Outside it looks grey, but it has been like that the last few days and then it turned into a lovely sunny day after all. It's the day for our gardener and also visitors are leaving. So I might do some washing, or I might put it off for another day. Canteen duty is up next. I need my pot of tea. I have lots of things I want / need to do, but we will see how much I actually get done. Be good. I am keeping an eye on things

Hah ha - happens to me all the time particularly when trying to promote the YDC!

Lovely and sunny and rather warm here in Welsh Wales - done the Old Sailor's food shop, washing's out on the line so what's next? Maybe a bit of gardening / weed killing.

Ello troops. Several more tubs of weed hit the compost heap yesterday so the garden is beginning at long last is starting to look reasonable, still plenty more to do though if the rain holds off. Must go down to the local shops today to see if there are any reasonably priced bedding plants to fill some more gaps.

Keeping off the fatty foods and just eating snacks instead of main meals seems to be working O.K. as I haven't had any more painful attacks since Friday. The good thing is that I've lost nearly half a stone too ! Lol, I might have to get a smaller sized uniform from the Quarter Master's stores soon !

Still all quiet on the Weston Front - sigh, erm, I mean hurrah.

Sgt will hope for you that your new diet will help, you've done well loosing weight.

Yes there are spaces in my tubs that need filling in with the odd plant, but problems are that last year I over crowded them so Sgt hope you can get your plants I have a few left so hope I will get away with not buying any more.

Re lists done & have also managed to list 3 more yesterday. & somer lost 1 so have made up for it.

Good morning! another grey day! The forecast is for the same over the next few days , but no rain. So I think the washing machine will be working hard. The birds are very noisy this morning. I think they are complaining that the feeders are empty. But until I buy some more food, they will have to be content with what nature provides. I am now going to release Barney and put the kettle on. See you later
