After yesterday's downpours, thunder and lightening, it's now VERY warm and VERY humid. Going to be an uncomfortable night I think.

Good morning. It looks quite grey again. We started around 7pm with a torrential downpour. Though it didn't last long, I think the rain continued on and off. I am off to the canteen shortly to make tea and coffee and to have a look what there is left to eat. Shopping or possibly baking will come a bit later. I also need to wrap up YDC parcels and take them to the PO. I want to finish sewing a bag and to finish making a bracelet. Not sure which will happen first. I also need to clean the guest room as on Monday it will be inhabited for 3 nights and corresponding days. So I think that's my day sorted. I'll be back tomorrow.

Morning - all YDC packets dispatched yesterday evening + another trip to the PO main postbox

Just hope I don't have to call out the Emergency doctor to the Old Sailor this morning - he found a lump in his groin on Sunday and it's bothering him as he already has Prostate Cancer [the hormonal, OAP type]. Will see him soon when he gets up.

Apart from that, the Podiatrist is also due to visit today to sort out his feet - it's going to be one of those days.....

Attachment 58487 Now I am off to the canteen as I will need a pot of tea, so I might as well make the coffee. Sun is out and I hope it will stay as the gardener is due. And after all the rain we have had, the weeds are flourishing. See you later
Meebo! That is gorgeous!! I wish I had seen it.....was off for a few weeks seeing my kids and grandkids. That fabric is so nice - I like what you did with it. Sorry this is a bit late, but was going back through and seeing what I missed!!

Cool, foggy and still very damp. Chicken had a fight with a squirrel who dared get into her coop today...….squirrel made a lucky escape.

Just waiting for the Doctor to turn up - no idea when as they're quite busy at the Surgery.

Ello troops. Oh dear hope the Old sailor is O.K. Private Mcc2 best to get lumps checked out sooner than later. It might just be a hernia, the Old Soldier had to have a couple of small operations for those.

Grrr Private Mcc2 and Corporal Somerset you should just be going to the post office with YDC stuff and nothing else !
