Good morning! Have done canteen duty, so just help yourself - Müsli, toast and marmalade, coffee, tea that should see you through til lunch. It looks a bit brighter today, though it had been raining when I got up. Have a pleasant day

My camouflage seems to be working really well again at the moment (sob!) maybe it's because I've got my holiday notice up ?

Arternoon

Busy morning as the Fire Service came out to check the Old Sailor's smoke alarms - it was 2 young ladies so that cheered Dad up no end!

I'll soon be putting up a new holiday notice as we're off to the Fens for a week to visit my home village where my mother is buried, meet up with my brother, as well as meandering here & there in the MH.

All but one parcels posted from yesterday's invasion - so all will be quiet now for a while!

Good morning! I think it is time for me to go to the canteen to do my duty. Daughter is coming today,. OH has another hospital and tomorrow 3 friends come to stay for the weekend. Daughter is here for the month. So a busy time ahead. Shopping is also on the agenda. OH has another hospital appointment and then should be admitted on Tuesday. I must admit that I am feeling a little bit apprehensive now. But I am keeping my mouth shut on that topic. Time to make tea and coffee and then release Barney. So have a good day

Ello troops. Glad your daughter is around for you to give support while Clive is away Private Meebo.

I hardly slept last night, don't know what is up with me at the moment but something is wrong with my digestive system again, don't know if it is linked with my IBS. I was in pain all night it felt like someone was stamping on my rib cage, I ended up having to take pain killers at 5.00am. Feeling a bit better this morning but if that happens again I might take a trip to the docs when I get back from Cornwall.

So nice to see some sun today at last.

Sarge, I think a trip to the doc is a very good idea even if nothing happens while you are away.
