I don't envy you that work, but it should be nice at the end of it all

Home improvement projects are never easy. At least you have someone else coming in to do the work. We are not making much progress here by ourselves.

Good morning! I think my body clock is almost adjusted. So canteen duty is done and I even remembered to take bread out of the freezer. The birds are quite noisy, so I think it is not raining. Still projects to finish, but I am getting there. I did not manage the trip to the PO, so the YDC parcels are still with me. I might drop them off later, though I might just as well wait til tomorrow as they won't go far today. Nothing much happening today, so no excuse for working.

Morning - feeling a bit sore/achey again. Either it's something I ate last night or I twisted a limb while sleeping - again. Don't grow old is my mantra at the moment!

As it's damp and hortible outside, will continue with the postage editing as not much more to do [she says hopefully]

Don't envy you having workmen in, buttons - especially all the packing up and trying to live with the mess. If you had the room, you should park a static caravan on your garden and move into it for the duration!

Time for another mug of tea.

To look on the bright side of having work done in the house, there is no point doing any housework so you can skive it. That's how I coped with having our extension built.

Ello troops, you can tell O/H is back as the quarters already look a tip ! Grrrr I've already had a go at him as he left his breakfast stuff all over the side instead of putting it in the dishwasher - why is that so hard ?!

Oh and because I was distracted by all his clutter (well that's my excuse) I didn't notice a newbie sneak in and pinch one of my precious listings !

Still raining here......and cold. Went to mail my YDC items, and the PO's weren't open, so it will have to wait till another day. Glad some of you got something useful done today. I fed the chickens in the rain, and the cat in the house, and rubbed OH's neck as Hizonor has a migraine. Hope you are all going to enjoy a warm and peaceful evening and weekend!
