Well I'm having a fun day too. I had to erm, cough, cough, go to the post office and O/H had pumped up a tyre for me before he left. Anyway by the time I got home my tyre was as flat as a pancake ! So I've just had to pump it up again and crawl to Kwikfit, they said I could wait but it might be all afternoon so I've just had to fork out for a taxi back. I'm sure it's all the bloomin' pot holes we have got on the roads around here that have caused it. So now I'll be hanging around all afternoon waiting for them to call.

Yeah, it's frustrating when the car has a flat, or you have to go out in the cold when you'd rather stay inside and warm and cozy. We may had out for a quit jaunt to town this afternoon, but OH has let his car get to E on the fuel gage, so it may be a short trip.

Sunny, off and on, and getting chillier. Rained last night. Not much new happening here.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Sar ask them to drop it back for you, Kwik fit pick ours up and bring it back,
the central heating decided it would not fire, so took the thermostat apart and fixed that.
we went to the dentist and this happened:
we got in the car got to the turn near the railway station indicated and all the windows opened, got to dentist shut the windows, mike was in the chair for 1 1/2 hours, got back in the car well mike did my side would not open so had to use the key, started her up, put her in reverse and all the windows opened again, got home shut windows again, switched dishwasher on, no i will not start until you have wiped all my seals down, wiped seals and away that went, so thats my three mysterious happenings for the day now, i am beginning to think all these things are out to get us. I am beginning to think i am on a different planet

Don't think Kwikfit would do that in Bath or at least they didn't offer when I said I would have to get a taxi both ways as my husband was away ! Anyway I have got my new tyre so at least I can get to the dentist tomorrow.

Oh and my third thing that happened is that a 'for sale' board went up outside my next door neighbour's house today. When I got home I found a note in my letterbox from the student's parents saying she has been very ill and has had to go back home to live with them so they are having to sell the house. So I shall be getting new neighbours, I just pray we get a nice family and it's not a landlord that buys it for their portfolio and constantly rents to new people.

Good morning! Canteen duty has been done. We will be eating scones for breakfast (with clotted cream and jam) as the poor things should have been disposed of yesterday afternoon, but I slept. Breakfast is better for me anyway. More chance to work off the calories.. Outside it is wet (as was promised)There are times when one wants the forecasters to be wrong. Sarge, I hope the dentist visit will go well. And anybody else's medical problems will be dealt with swiftly. OH is spending most of today and tomorrow having more tests done, so I can hopefully make a dent in the long to-do list. Off to have my tea now.(after a bit of tick nicking)

Morning - wouldn't mind a scone for breakfast myself

Thanks to the Old Sailor, I have a long 'To Do' list for today; just hope it doesn't take too long to work through as I found some postage editing that I'd missed ...

Time for another mug of tea to help me get going.
