I was going to test your defenses and try and pinch some bees wax polish a few months ago but you had your listings in holiday mode so I'm afraid I had to go elsewhere. (Drat, lost my chance to have a shout there too !)

Long enough Private Meebo, it drove me mad trying to match up all those matchstick arms and legs. I haven't done a jig saw for years and no I'm not going to start on the painting on the other side !!!

Good morning! Well, after about 6 hours in A&E he came home with a course of antibiotics and a diagnosis. He has a chest infection. Today we will decide what to do. We might just move the dates a bit, but we will see. Anyway, tea and coffee are ready. Have a good sunday

What a hortible morning as Storm Dylan is paying us a visit with lashing wind and rain. Don't think I'll be going too far today.

Got a few new listings up yesterday including 3 for the YDC - hoping to do a few more today.

But first another mug of tea.

That's why it is so windy and wet. I have just packed my suitcase as it looks like we will go tomorrow. Just hope the crossing won't be too rough

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Private Meebo. I just hope the antibiotics are kicking in by then. The weather is fairly O.K. here now that the wind has dropped.

I certainly will not varnish the puzzle Private Buttons, do you think I want to be reminded of the weeks misery I've just had ?!

Tut, what an end to the year, I've just had another direct hit. I don't know I've tried every tactic in the book this month, telling people my post office is closed for a week, putting my listings into holiday mode for ten days, and still I end up having to pay H/Q a whole £1 in fines ! Shakes head in despair ... will just have to go and get blotto at the neighbours new year meal tonight and delight in watching O/H blow himself up with the military fireworks !
