Crash-Bang-Wallop - the bin men are early this morning! And that was just the recycling boxes [wine & beer bottles] being emptied! And not just ours

House is almost back to normal but still loads of washing to do.

But first another mug of tea.

Meebo if Clive doesn't ring the hospital you ring them and either cancel the trip or try and get a flight, i would not let him drive all that way, the bottom line is he is ill and and it could make him worse, I dont think it's worth the risk, and make sure he rings the hospital as you know what me are like.
PS I hope he feels better soon.

Meebo glad OH is sleeping but think you really do need advice as you don't want to get stuck anywhere with a sick OH, hope you can speak to the hospital.
Sgt just hope that our change over will go wll to sky broad band, sky have sent us a adapter tp help with the sound on the phone as keep getting noises as though waves are around so thats tomorrows job moving everything again. to get to phone point.

Our recycling to be collected tomorrow, will get ours ready & then do the inlaws when get there last ime they said there wasn't any an I could hardly lift the box so Annie our turn to have a early start.

Hope everyone has recovered from Christmas

    Relsits are upto date again.

Ello troops, goodness knows where half my recycling went with the wind last night ?! I went out this morning and I only had one recycling box instead of two. The one holding all the plastic items was missing despite being wedged into the glass one. I walked down the hill a bit and retrieved a box though I haven't a clue if it was mine or not ! I couldn't see any plastic rubbish on the road so it must all be down at the very bottom of the hill, I hope the bin men will pick it up as they go !

Private Meebo, Private Buttons is right, it's just not worth the risk of driving all that way with your O/H and his health at the moment. I don't want to see you flattened on some autobahn somewhere ! Even if he feels a bit better do try and get a flight instead.

Good afternoon, all. Well, the crowds have finally cleared out, and the castle is quiet. The rain and winds have cleared all the snow away. Philpott put a new heating element in the dryer, so that's helpful. I hope Clive feels better now.

I know how you fee, Green. Lots of my listings disappeared, and I basically have YDC activity to my name for the last year or two. sigh. Maybe I will get energetic and start a batch of new listing in 2018.
    Ta-Ta for now!

He did ring the hospital and actually spoke to his consultant (he was on duty) He did say there is nothing to worry about, but if the fever didn't get down he could go to A&E. Well he went at 2pm (driven by a friend) and he is still there. He rang me though to say it wasn't very busy ad they had put him on an antibiotic drip and also did blood tests. He then talked about taking the bus home. I hope his ears are still burning from what I said (just to remind him that he promised to ring a friend to pick him up when the time comes. There really are occasions when I want to drive) I still think we might go Monday, but we will see how things are tomorrow
