It is cold outside, I think, as heating is working hard. And a good morning to you all. I am off to the canteen to prep breakfast and then today it is laundry day. It'll be the last time before we depart on Monday. I admit to being excited. And I must check out the weather across the channel. Barney is going on Saturday on his hols. I hope he'll be happy as it will be his first time away from home (not counting his vet visits) Better get moving. See you later

Talk about a blizzard last night, the wind was howling here for hours. Thankfully the snow seems to be melting on the roads as I got a direct hit from a newbie on boxing day.

I think they said it was going to warm up a bit again at the weekend Private Meebo. Are you flying or going by boat ?

No I made up an excuse Lieutenant Maplegin. It was yesterday afternoon, O/H went down for a couple of hours but I'm pleased I didn't go in the end as it was already pouring with rain by the time he walked back. At least my liver appreciated the rest ... well until New Year !

Brrrrr - looks VERY cold and frozen outside. Glad I'm in the warm.

Kettle is boiled and there's fresh bread and cereal, etc.

Just taken my holiday notice off - just hope I don't get knocked over in the rush to empty my listings!!

Good morning, being late is becoming a habit. Not that I get up late, but I keep forgetting to bring my thyroxine tablets upstairs as I need to take them at least half an hour before anything else. And of course once I am in the canteen I do things that need to be done - like making tea and coffee. Annie, I just stuck my head out of the front door - it is cold. I am planning a bit of scanning and taking a few photos. And who knows - I might list something
