Peace at last! It's been a rather chaotic day what with the cooker blowing a fuse and himself thinking we'd have to use the BBQ to finish cooking the turkey but eventually got it sorted + one over-excited 5 year-old as Grandad had over bought on presents.
But the Old Sailor loved it all.

It's so mild here all the bedroom windows are open but Wales is on snow alert for tomorrow night!

Trust everyone has had a good day and hasn't over indulged tooo much .......

Morning - kettle's on and tea is made.

After rain all night, Wales is on a snow alert for tonight - thought we'd seen the last of the white stuff.

Time for toast and more tea.

I really think I need a change of air. Again I must have been distracted from finishing the post I was writing. Mind you we were both woken up at 3.15 by what we thought was OH's alarm and turned out to be his tablet. He went back to sleep and I got up. I can see that I will be sleeping later today. Have a good and restful one

Hope all had a good time yesterday,

Well we ended up doing all the prep & cooking but it went well accept the kettle deicided to stop working, so before we go over & start again, have to go to morrisons & get a kettle.

Hope everyone has an easy day, have done the relists.

Ello troops is it spring yet ... she said hopefully ?!
At least there's a glimmer of sunshine outside today before the snow hits !

Hope you all had a good time yesterday. We've now been invited to a Boxing Day do this afternoon and I'm trying to think of a good excuse not to go as it's a long walk there and back. I'm just feeling so tired from the travelling and Christmas celebrations I just want some time to recover before New Year hits and we are also meant to be having a drink sometime with some neighbours this week too. O/H is working tomorrow so he wouldn't want to drink much anyway.
