Good morning! Breakfast is ready in the canteen. Nothing special, but then I did sleep late. The PC is still spending time updating things, but at least it is working. I think it is time for me to start packing, provided OH's foot is better. It is a long drive which I don't think he should do when in pain. Have a good day everyone, and don't work too hard

Good morning. Just a few words to wish all my eBid friends a "Very Merry Xmas" and a "Happy and Healthy New Year".

Everyone's having a lie-in this morning so all is peaceful - for now. Not much planned for today apart from a few DVDs & reading Captain Underpants stories [they're hilarious] to keep the younger one occupied. A bit of tidying up to do, but not much thank goodness.

Hip playing up again so back on the Co-codamol after a very uncomfortable night.

My balance problem with the sensation of feet slipping has been back with a vengeance over the last few days to compete with your hip problem Private Mcc2. I'm dreading the walk down the steep hills into Bath this afternoon for the Christmas eve party at friends. It's not so bad coming back up the hills but tottering down is going to be embarrassing as we are walking with other people. I do wish I knew what was causing it, flaking nails are back too, I don't like this getting old !

Will pop in & listen to the music presently, at the moment we have the radio on with a festival of 9 lessons & carols, we have the stuffing cooking ready to take to mother in laws for tomorrows lunch.

Have done our relists, so we are upto date & I see somer has a bomb to go off on Boxing day.
