I did wonder at some of the news reports on the wind speeds as they seemed to be on par with some of ours, glad you heard from them sarge and that they are safe.

Evening all - just back from dinner at a pizzeria just down the road from where we're staying and we're stuffed! The difference between a wood-fired freshly cooked pizza and a frozen doughy concoction from Tesco, etc. just doesn't bear comparison. People were queuing up to be seated and the place was packed out. And this is 2 streets back from the main drag in a residential area!

Good morning! It's windy and not very warm. I left some curtains on the line yesterday to dry. I wonder if they are still there. We are supposed to go out this morning. I might change my mind. We will see.... Off to do the breakfast duty. I'll be back later if we don't get blown away

Ello troops. Bloomin' weather, I've got so much to do in the garden and it's really grotty out there.

I did manage to cut back a sackful of brambles yesterday as the blackberries are starting to finish now but still have a load more to do.

Oh well it looks like I shall have to do some more listing and had better sort out some things for the YDC. It sounds like you still having a good time Private Mcc2, when do you get back to the barracks ?

Morning - it's 7.16am here and 3.16pm in the UK according to my laptop's clock and I've just put the kettle on.

We're on the school run again today with our grandson - he looks so tiny in his new school uniform.

And then we're off out again tonight with No. 1 son to see David Gilmour [ex-Pink Floyd] Live @ Pompei as a surprise birthday present to hubby.

I had my face 'threaded' this afternoon. My chin feels a little sore but I'll be fine tomorrow and at least it'll take a few weeks before it needs doing again. There is a German saying which says(translated) The one that wants to look beautiful has to suffer. . I keep trying to tidy and then find things that should be listed and aren't. It is never ending. So back to work, i think

when I looked up 'threaded' none of the explanations refer to what I had done.
