have had a busy day as barbers, then Grandaughter came who haven't seen for about 3months so that was nice then took her with us to get somers mum sorted, she looks so grown up that Dad thought it was the nurse coming to take bloods, she hasn't seen Peter for over a year. At 14 she looks so grown up. Was good then came home cooked dinner by then son arrived & so fed them before they headed for home which is Worcester, & even managed to make a apple crumble so was pleased with it.

Hope everyone has better weather than us its really miserable.

We have EHU [electric hook up], fresh water and waste water disposal all on pitch. This is common on all Candian RV camp sites. And the wine is in, but it's Rose

VERY over cast today and we can smell smoke/burning again. There is a pinky/orange tinge in the sky to the South of us - but whether it's the hazy evening sunlight playing tricks, or worse, we have no idea. Heading west on Wednesday back towards Vancouver.

In the meantime I have scanned some books and cards and made tea and coffee, cleaned the kitchen floor, emptied the dishwasher, released Barney and fed him. I was going to get the Hoover out, but took pity on OH as it might wake him if I use it. He has a difficult day ahead: it's the day that he takes a concoction of 12 tablets in the morning and one of them stops him from sleeping. Thankfully it is one day a week and only 3 x in a month. Now the scanning is done, I can list.

Got a shock how grown up my youngst gtandaughter is, she's 14 but looking you would put her 16, it gets frightening, was nice to see them & nice having someone to do the shopping with yesterday

Good morning. Cold and gray here. Hope to get some work done around today. Had a nice afternoon yesterday - a butterfly landed on my arm in the garden and we chatted awhile. Then a bunny popped out from the bushes 5' away and just nibbled the grass while I stood and watched. May try to get some painting done today. Keep warm!
