Mine are 2 uprights and I do the sleeping bag / blanket thing when it is warmer. As it is reasonably cold, I just stack the drawers outside the back door. I only managed one today, but it is surprising how much room I had when all the ice was gone and things were rearranged. I plan No 2 to do tomorrow.
Our goose lunch was shared with a couple of friends and I should have just about enough meat left for lunch on Thursday.

Morning - managed to phone the Surgery about my loss of hearing/blockage in my ear. Now to wait for a call back and insist on seeing a doctor today.

Apart from that, it's white over outside after a heavy frost and looks VERY cold.

Annie, it is best not to try clearing the blockage. Mine was totally blocked and my GP could see the water lodged there. He said to leave it and it would clear of its own accord in time.

Frustrating, I know.

I now have an appointment with the Practice Nurse for this afternoon to have my ear syringed. I just hope it works as I had ear-ache most of yesterday along with a headache. And the washing machine-type noise in my head is driving me nuts.

Maybe when she squirts some more water into your ear it will start the spin cycle

Blue sky and sunshine and frost. That's outside. The frost was good for my freezer content and I got the 2nd one clean and running again. I am now exhausted and will go back to my bunk very shortly. Tomorrow I should be back to early morning canteen duty

Well - there is definitely a blockage in my ear and could the nurse shift it - NO, she could not - not even after 3 attempts.

So back to the warm Olive Oil 3-4 times a day for at least a week and then go back for a check-up.

She told me not to - just Olive Oil.

I wonder why, I thought it was safe to use, will stick to olive oil then in future.
