Congratulations Annie, be sure to open a favourite bottle of wine and toast each other's good health!

I didn't sleep well again last night, was up at 10 to 5 am. I can't seem to switch off, my mind goes into overdrive.
I have my son and the two little ones tomorrow, they are all staying for a sleepover. DIL will collect them Friday afternoon. Rather an awkward situation, since she has called off their marriage - I have always liked the girl and will still make her welcome, for everyone's sake.

Glad your leg is not so painful sarge, and good luck with your letter writing meebo.
Buttons, please try and get some help with moving the bed, your roofing man sounds a decent bloke and betcha any money he would only be too pleased to help you out.

Right, off for a cuppa now!

At the moment we are fighting about him putting the shelves in the wrong place in the wall unit, i mean only a man could put a wide shelf at the bottom and a thinner one on top so that the doors dont rest against them without leaving a gap, at 1 am this morning i was shouting that i must have gone out and picked the biggest idiot on earth and thought oh he will do, ill have him. he is now taking it apart again all because i am a woman and am thick and he knew best, well ha ha you didn't did you big head. There was a few stronger words added.

    I'm really upset.
I went for the blood tests on Monday, got a phone call this afternoon to tell me that the hospital wanted me to give some more samples tomorrow, as they had rejected all the samples that they had received.
I told them that I couldn't make it as I have my grandchildren to look after, and have them 'till Friday afternoon. Now I have to go back again on Monday to repeat the procedure. I shall worry all over the weekend as to why they rejected the samples - I asked why they had been rejected - didn't get a plain answer, just "Oh, sometimes this happens".
Has anyone else had this happen? I'm feeling a bit (lot) scared.

Contamination, left too long before they do them, who knows but i doubt it's your fault, possibley the reason why they haven't given you a plain answer

Good morning. Trish, don't worry about it. You said they had trouble to get enough blood in the first place. It may have something to do with that. Remember to have plenty of water before going, as it seems to make it easier. I have been a good girl and done 20 minutes on the treadmill ( I didn't want to) but I know it's good for me. I have also been to the canteen to make tea and coffee. Later today I shall have a haircut which is overdue. and tomorrow I should be visiting the EXCEL for a craft fair. I wouldn't normally bother, but as they were so kind as to send me a free ticket it would be churlish to refuse. It will also mean a day out. And now I must check out how to get there, before I forget it again
