Always quiet in here nowadays. It never recovered from the forum 'upgrade' debacle.

Good morning. I am all set for the drive to Bournemouth. OH is awake (sort of) and daughter probably still asleep. I'll be out all day, so be good. If I am not too tired I'll say hallo this evening, otherwise I should be back on duty in the morning. Off to the canteen to put the coffee on and make tea too. Have a good day

Morning - himself is doing overtime today so an early start to the day. The heating's on as it looks very cold and damp out there.

It's been quiet in the Forums for quite a while, Penni - or they're all on holiday or on Facebook!

My Canadian grandson is 4 today - hoping to speak via Skype later

Mornin' troops it is a shame about the forums. They used to be such a laugh in the 'old days' and we have lost so many lovely witty people to the eBid forums in the sky along the way with no newbies coming in to take their place.

Well I should have the chap coming to fit my new gas fire this morning - that's if he has brought the right kind of pipe with him this time ! If not I shall have to resort to other measures.

Got a girls night out tonight so please type quietly tomorrow morning !

I think Annie hit the nail on the head about facebook, it's also damaging sales in the doll collecting and selling section of ebay as most have set up selling pages and groups and offer their stuff for sale their first, i don't know what damage it has done to other categories, i would not put it past him to start a full blown auction site as already has a market place it seems, i know it has affected my little doll knitting on the other side.

Yes its damp & miserable here today, did manage to walk Rex before the rain started. at last the sun is trying to break through but don't think it will survive,

Yes Sgt we do realize that its better to be prepaired, Mum won't like it untill she realises that its Dads isea, then hopefully will be ok, She just keeps loosing everything, She has lost the Barclay card statement, (The card we have cancelled ) as she keeps messing up & can't tell the security details. So think will have to ring them & ask the balance & then get it paid.

Meebo hope you have good trip to Bournemouth, & the weather isn't to bad.

We are also cat sitting for our neighbour, as her extra job is working for alarge company that puts firework displays & she set off early this morning they are doing the big one at Cardiff tomorrow, she seems to love getting it to set to music, She always chooses the music. She did 2 on Thursday in the Bournemouth area. hope its not to damp for them,

Good morning, I am shattered and I didn't do anything. OH did all the driving. Daughter is now in her new home (shared house) a stone's throw from the sea. We had lunch a long lunch in a restaurant with sea view, then did do some grocery shopping for her and dropped her home. And we set off home. Traffic was heavy but moving till we got near home which puzzled me as the shops were closed by then. Until we came to an accident site where one of two lanes were closed. So that part of the journey that should have taken 10 minutes was almost an hour. So I won't be doing much and I expect neither will Clive. I have made tea and coffee and will now have some
