That's good news Private Buttons ( you still can't use it as an excuse to sleep on guard duty though ! )

Just back from Stroud, what a lovely little town it is, lots of nice little artizan shops as well as the usual chain ones. Lol, one shop owner that has a lovely shop selling vintage items is now educated about eBid and has my business card !

i too have low thyroid and it took 5 or 6 months to work out what dose i needed. All is under control now as they give me all my pills in a docket box so i don't forget them.

I was just diagnosed with low thyroid yesterday and had my first tablet this morning. I go back in two months to see if they've got the dose right.

Al least now I know why my get up and go has gone awol. There was me thinking penguin was putting something in the tea!

As if I could ever think of doing that! But now that you mention it - thanks for the idea!

I am on L-T3 ... THIS document explains some of it.

Clear as mud to me....I nearly died in March because of low L-T3 and my GP practice has already stopped prescribing it

As with all switches, these should be tailored to the individual patient.
That seems to be not the case with you, moonie.
I am off to put the kettle on and make tea and coffee. The bread machine will start beeping soon to tell me that the bread is ready. It does smell lovely here this morning. I really need to give my iron some exercise, as daughter is back from a week in Paris so the washing machine will have a lot of work to do and no, I generally don't do her ironing, but will add a few of my laundry items and those I am responsible for before the pile already waiting tips over. And I can't say it is too hot. I'll better get on with the work or the day will be over before I do anything

Morning - wet and VERY windy here in Mid Wales. It's building up to 50mph gusts later apparently - so much for summer.

Cleared a lot of rubbish off my hard drive yesterday and also off the the back up external hard drive. Today it's my photos folder where I know there are 100s of duplicates/triplicates, etc.

Hoping the PC chappie will be round later to see if he can get anything off the damaged hard drive that was replaced last week - I only need 3 files.....

    Take care all.

Its as clear as mud to me as well moony but know it's all about saving money but think it's disgusting that if you really need it that you don't get it when people in wales are getting stuff they don't need free as in Paracetamol are cheap to buy in the supermarket so why prescribe them on a script, same with ibuprofen, I will not have them on a prescription I told him I would buy them as needed, they also pile Mike up with Paracetamol every month by the box load, this money could and should be spent on drugs that people really need, I have been told they are now trying to get people off tramadol because of the cost but what the heck are they going to give them instead, my GP has not prescribed the drug that the pain clinic told him to so can't really see the point in wasting my time going, I do hope you can get something sorted as i think they have a duty to sort you out but then again certain life saving cancer drugs are not available in Wales and people are having to move to England to get treatment and it's all wrong. I will now get off my soap box as I think I am on a one man crusade.
