Nice to see you penni, sorry about the scold hope hubby will now take it easy , good to here alls well with daughter & baby.

We are suffering from a disturbed night, as there was a car alarm that kept going off & with all the windows open one could here it, it would g quiet & then start again.

Managed to hack back some bushes and trees yesterday evening when it was a bit cooler ( yes, I know it should be done in the autumn but I was fed up with them and O/H never bothers to do it !) I also got another tub of weeds out of my flower bed so at least something was achieved.
O/H has at last got all the slabs for the (mud pit )new patio but at the moment has them laid out on the grass and they have already been there for two days so my grass is going to be dead ! Gawd knows how long it's going to take as he's going on a bike ride with a mate later and to the pub afterwards so nothing is going to get done today. Ho hum, I shall just ignore the mess and go to a neighbour's for a drink this afternoon !

It's soooo quiet on the battle front at the moment. Is the whole country away ?! Or are they all plotting for a September bombardment ? (she said hopefully !)

Problems with my desktop PC - Windows 10 isn't loading properly so I can't access anything - just get the little blue circle instead of the cursor arrow and then it blacks out - very worrying.

Using netbook for now............ and I need more tea.

Inside out, stones an' all Private Kite !

Had a nice afternoon with my friend across the road yesterday sharing a bottle of chilled rose in her garden and sharing the local gossip ! Got two more tubs of carp out of my flower bed in the evening. Bloomin' bind weed is everywhere, it used to be ground elder that was the real headache, I seem to have that under control now but bindweed seems to have taken it's place.

​O/H staggered home about midnight - he looks worse than me after a night in the mess this morning !

Well I seem to have rescued one of my listings.



Had an email conversation with the newbie buyer who said she thought the buy it now price was a higher bid and so went and bought the item elsewhere after bidding on mine - that's a new one on me ?!!!
