Ello troops my liver will be having a competition with Private Button's liver as O/H wanted to visit several hostelries last night and this evening I have a girls night out at a friend's place, knowing that lot, rather a lot of vino might be consumed !
I would advise you all to type very quietly tomorrow morning, please ask the cavalry to put straw on the courtyard and above all no bagpipes !

I haven't done a thing, it took me over a hour to get out of bed and am still bog eyed, those thyroid pills are now knocking me out, i think I am slightly allergic to them, in fact i know i am roof of mouth tingling, lips tingling and eyes like two cream puffs, what a way to wake up, took me till now to open the mail and low and behold another hospital appointment for a scan, I may move in.

Good morning........and Happy Father's Day to all the eBid dads! Didn't sleep last night, so made the coffee and tea for you all awhile back. Probably cold now, so will make you another pot and let meebo sleep in.

Bunnies were out and busy up IN my pots on the patio this morning at about 5 am.

Morning - rather dull and grey compared to last week's blue, cloudless skies

Cases unpacked; first load of washing in and not looking at the calendar to see what's happening this week !

I have one parcel to pack [when I find the book] apart from that, nothing else planned.

Ello troops. All I can say is that it was a very good girls night, thank goodness O/H has gone out for a walk and drinks with Cadet Malcolm for father's day so I can have a bit of peace and quiet. Somehow I don't think I shall be doing much today !

Sgt make the most of your peace & quiet.

We visited Nigels parents we thought we'd manage to do something in the garden for them but kept rainning so we didn't manage it, but does mean will try & list again today now we are home instead.

Buttons hope you can get used to the tablets, hope all these Hospital appoinments will sort you out.

What a horrible start to the day - more, and yet more heavy rain

So the next load of washing is in the dryer and a hold put on the next load. Impressed NOT

May just get some new listings up if I'm going to be housebound; or maybe start some long awaited website updates...............................

But first another mug of tea.

It has been raining all night. I should have started growing rice instead of marigolds. Silly me. I started two huge batches of marigolds and petunias, and they are all doing really well - about 8" tall, so I set them out around the garden in little corners to add a spot of color in the coming months . Looked a couple days later, and slugs/snails/gremlins had eaten all the leaves. I have kept my zinnias in the wash pan I started them in and just set them on the patio. Don't want to murder them by putting them in the garden, but don't have any big pots left. Sigh. May go look up how to make cement flower pots with a towel draped over a bucket.
