Back from seeing my new consultant, gosh what a change he is brilliant, I am now being tested for thyroid, coliac disease, sending me for a colonoscopy ( Nice ) a fibroscan and ultrasound and MRI if needed and took 7 lots of bloods. I am over the moon with him.

Brilliant [if you can call it that] news, Linda - trust all goes well with your various tests.

So do I annie, but it's best to know now rather than later, i am losing weight rapidly and he wants to know why, I am on HRT, I stopped smoking and take urso and all three put weight on you, i even guzzle lucozade by the grate full so I should be expanding instead of shrinking 7 stone 10 this morning and my pant's keep fallin down, going to get some face fillers if it goes any worse as i am beginning to look like a prune.

I'm so pleased they are doing something for you at long last. I don't envy you the colonoscopy though or the laxative beforehand. Speaking from experience I would move into the bathroom with your computer and knitting for several hours after taking that !

Good morning. Cloudy again, so more rain possible. The canteen is calling, so we will have tea and coffee very shortly. I think today will be a day for relaxing - if Mil permits. I forgot to repair a dress yesterday for our friend, so I may visit the PO to post it as she lives the other side of London and we don't see each other very often. Yes sarge i have has one before and dehydrated that much i flaked out the following morning after the dreaded drink, i was told i could have a special new MRI one that they do now that you just have to have some liquid put in you half way through it but just thought I may be able to have it done at the local hospital instead of bangor and the MRI scanner is in bangor. I am also very familiar with the inside of the loo lately, was even thinking of buying a few corks, does coliac disease mean I wont be able to eat cakes and bread and stuff.
Man is coming to look at my cooker today, i used the bottom big oven last night and it was spot on, just the small one, would anyone like to take bets that it works for him ?

Buttons good to hear that you are getting a load of test hope they will find out whats wrong, hope the man can sort your oven out I find i mainly use the small oven.hopefully he will have your small oven working very quickly


Sgt I replaced the one I lost yesterday with 5, mind you the item was only 40p trade card.

Hope to start to get sorted for the next lot soon.
